Making Memories Slice

I usually don't do product reviews, but after receiving the Making Memories Slice Cordless Design Cutter today I just had to open one up and see how it works...in one word - fabulous. I had it up and working in less than 5 minutes. It comes with one design card called Basics 1. The instructions are easy to follow and I cut the following on thick Bazzill Basics cardstock without having to make any adjustments to the height of the cutting blade.


I was able to watch tv and place the provided 6x6 cutting mat on a snack table and "create".

It's Finally Snowing!!

It's finally snowing on Long Island - my girls finally can make snow angels and have snowball fights!! We have had less than 2" of snow all season - until today! It's a good thing that I received the new papers from Daisy Bucket Designs yesterday. The new lines of paper are called Under the Boardwalk, Summer Cottage and Playlist.

We also have the new line of Memory Box Stamps and papers. Including the new Penguins at Play Clear Stamps Set.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season - it was quite busy here! It has been a while since I have posted here, we have received many new items and more to come. CHA 2008 is just around the corner.

Valentine's Day is next month and Basic Grey, Daisy Bucket Designs and Making Memories have some beautiful papers and stamps just right for the occasion.

We also carry a really fun item from The Crafter's Workshop called Doodling Templates. Doodling Templates are really fun to use - just trace and doodle.

Happy Thanksgiving & Happy 1st Anniversary

I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving Day. I had my whole family at my house for Thanksgiving. It was a hectic day, but full of laughs. I cooked my first fresh turkey - no frozen turkeys for me anymore :) It was delicious.

I can't believe it's been a year since stampingcottage.com opened. It has been a lot of hard work, but it's been fun, too. I have met so many new people, through email and on the phone. Thank you for a wonderful year and many more to come. Thanks.

It has been a while since I have posted. There have been some wonderful new additions to the website. I have been kept quite busy.
